  1. Triund – Triund is a small hill station situated in the laps of Dhauladhar mountains and popular as a beautiful trekking spot. The tranquil trek offers the perfect view of the Dhauladhar mountains on one side and Kangra Valley on the other. The large land of green grass is a one-day trek from Macleodganj and goes through a forest of Oak and Deodar trees. The place also serves as a base camp for trekkers climbing the Inderahara point in the Mountain Dhauladhar.




  1. Bijli Mahadev – Bijli Mahadev is a beautiful temple located at an altitude of about 2,460m in the Kullu Valley. The Lord Shiva temple can be approached after 3-4 Kms trekking we well as via road from Naggar side. As the temple is situated on the top of the hills, it offers a panoramic view of the Kullu and Paravati Valleys. Those planning to stay there, they can carry their own camping equipment.




  1. Kamrunag Lake – Kamrunag is situated at an altitude of around 3500 meters and is one of the best destinations in district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. There are a natural lake and a beautiful temple on the top of the hill. As there is no direct road to the spot, it can only be reached be trekking and a perfect place for those seeking for adventure in an unspoiled environment. The place has good potential for trekking and camping but the lake is completely frozen in winters.



  1. Prashar Lake – Parashar lake is located amidst the Dhauladhar ranges of Kullu and offers a stunning view. There is a three-storied temple located on the bank of the lake that is known for its Himachali architecture. The lake is located at an elevation of around 2730 above sea level and the surroundings of the lake can enchant the mind and soul. It is a perfect destination for those interested in architecture, natural lakes, fresh air, and beautiful landscape.
